I promised that if I behave myself till end of March, I'll get these as my rewards.........

So, last I heard, a couple of friends lost their residency coz the club they worked for decide to go with foreign DJs. Seriously, I don't know whether it's good or not. Personally, nothing wrong with DJs from China or Phillipines or Vietnam. I'm all for the Asian jocks, or anybody that does the job well. Don't know who to blame..... the local jocks or the club operators. I'm sure it has everything to do with operating costs and not music or attitudes, or personalities. However, if this is gonna be the trend, that's gonna be pretty bad for the local DJ culture. Operators will determine what equipments to use and how to use instead of the DJs themselves. For all you know, they would just ask the DJs to use iPods (if they wanna keep their jobs.)

To my friends who have lost their jobs...... hold your heads up. Maybe you can start learning how to DJ with iPods and iPhones. I've decide to leave this trade and make way for new DJs....... especially those with small ears and big mouths.

Got back last night and what was the first thing I hear people talk about? CASINO. Opened the newspapers, CASINO. Looking at the pictures, I can bear to think about how regimented our minds have been programmed after spending too much time here. I came to realize that the nation's favorite past time is actually QUEUEING. In fact, I realized this fact ever since the days of Hello Kitty when people would queue and get into bust-ups to get their hands on FREE Dolls from MacDonalds. Now, these same people says that they are feeling lucky and queueing up for a taste of fortune is worth the while. 'FEELING LUCKY'??

In all truth, maybe you did feel lucky when you left home. But, by the time you reach Sentosa, having to queue and the bad-bad odour of the 'other queue', I reckon the God-of-Luck would have sprint his way out of your body without any hesitation. Not forgetting, someone's un-luckiness may just jump on you while in the queue. Apart from that, how can you gonna be lucky on an island which has proved too many times that nothing really work on that island. It's not called PULAU BLAKANG MATI for no reason.

I heard someone say, "My wife don't le me gamble in Joo Chiat, but she says it's ok if I go to Sentosa....." - is this theory as good as, "Don't go Geylang and fuck, it's ok if you go nightclubs!"

I may not be a gambler, but if I was one..... I would go back to the illegal gambling dens in Serangoon, Geylang, Joo Chiat, Tanjong Pagar and everywhere else. Here's 10 reasons why.....

1. No need to queue.
2. The car park is just less than 10m away.
3. You can smoke in the gambling hall.
4. Wear anything you want.
5. Need money, they guy standing behind you can give some. No forms to fill, just IC.
6. Make new friends who can get you 'anything'.
7. Simple drinks and food. No complicating cocktail drinks. Just beer or green tea. And the hot drinks are the ones from the coffee shop nearby.
8. Easy to get memberships - exclusivity.
9. No 'cover charge', no double standard. Love all, serve all.
10. The gambling den change venues every now and then. The God of Luck won't get bored in one place.!!

Another thing that is bugging me....... my Islander card to get into Sentosa is now void because of the CASINO. Can't get into the island to laze around at the beach. Driving into the island will cost $7, and the traffic jam is worst than getting to JB on the weekends.

And worst of all, the country is celebrating it. Just like we're celebrating idiocrisy.

I'd rather hangout with my Cheena bros for a drink or two......

So........ (this is gonna be a 'boring' posting)

I'm still in Brunei..... the first leg of the gig just ended last night. Unfortunately, there are no photos to post due to 'no camera' policy. Don't ask why but I think I understand the complications. I'm not gonna brag if the party when well or not, what kinda music played, who screamed the loudest and what was served. But again, everything seems to taste and feel nice when it is illegal or 'hard-to-get'. Ok, that sounds wrong.

Another thing I noticed that when there's a party that involves family members, and lots of married or attached couples, the single ones seemed to look weird. Weird in every way! And the married men, they flock together and are very much well-behaved. In this case, well-behaved means they are there to really take care, look after and serve the wives. This is when all the wives get together and go crazy....... I mean really really crazy. Can't say much what they did at the party but, to me, it's like the wives and the fiances and the girlfriends, took this opportunity to let loose...... like a mad moose..... chasing after a wild goose.

Errr....... I think I should not say much. I made friends with 'them' and we click pretty well. They will be reading this blog soon and I don't want to be a party-pooper. Nevertheless, this gig will be one of those things that I'm gonna remember a long long time. Some day, I can brag about this gig. But that's gonna cost....... a life.

Btw, I was chatting with someone on MSN and he asked, "why you say you always travel for gigs but I can't seem to find your posters anyway or no clubs heard of you?" Well, that's because, I only play at gigs when people get married, divorced, circumcised........ and sometimes, I play at anniversary parties of the School of the Deaf. All these parties are not listed unless you in the 'niche'....... get the drift. Maybe, I should brag more?? I don't know every DJ in Indonesia or Europe like someone claimed to be. And, I don't intend to be like 'Mike'...... So, that's why you don't here much and know about me. It's not good for a DJ, but again, at this moment, do I really care?

Maybe, why don't you try Googling my name and see what's on the top list..... on maybe what's on the first 2 pages.......

Biatch!!!!!!

Man, 27, accused of raping friend's 48-year-old mum...........
(New Paper, 10th Feb 2010)

A 48-year-old mother suffered a six-hour ordeal when her daughter's friend allegedly bound her with masking tape and raped her. During that time, her daughter returned home and went into her own room, unaware of her mother's plight.

The divorcee's ordeal was revealed during a preliminary inquiry in the High Court where Shamsul Sa'at, 27, faced a total of seven charges.

He is accused of one count each of theft, aggravated molest, aggravated sexual assault by penetration, aggravated rape and housebreaking by night. He also faces two counts of attempted aggravated rape.

Shamsul is accused of stealing a bunch of keys from his friend's flat when he visited her in November 2008.

His friend, who is in her 20s, shares the flat with her mother.

Then, about five months later, at about 1am on 4 Apr last year, Shamsul allegedly entered the flat using the stolen keys.

His friend's mother was alone at home and sleeping in her bedroom.

Shamsul allegedly bound her with masking tape and covered her mouth, eyes and face with the tape.He is accused of attempting to rape her after removing her trousers and panties.

Is this the case of STIFLER'S MOM.....???!!

Speaking from the male-ego side of me, first time I saw this poster of the movie, I went, "Oh no, another mushy-mooshi-boobie-woogie movie". When my significant-other suggested that we watch this, I didn't feel as bad. I was more than willing and frankly, I look forward to it. Weird feeling coming from me as I'm known to be really picky about movies, actors and directors.

After a third of the movie past, I guessed correctly what's gonna happen, but I was really surprised of the whole outcome of the movie. Seriously, I actually enjoyed it. Star-studded cast, multiple plots and the ending was 'some-kind' twisted. I'm not giving away the story line, but what I'm gonna say is....... guys, if you wanna start showing the romantic side of you, maybe u can try this movie as a start. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

Guys, put your male-ego aside and take your girlfriend........ or boyfriend to watch this. Same sex relationships are also advised to watch this........ like I said, you'll be pleasantly amused and surprised.

If you like the movie CRASH, you might like Valentine's Day.

The picture above was taken from a food court in VivoCity. I believe the above phrase is grammatically correct. Not sure if there's anything wrong with having such sign outside the food stall. However, I don't find the rationality of restricting HALAL food into another food station. What wrong has the HALAL food do to be restricted into the other food court? Isn't it better if the sign says, "DO NOT BRING OUTSIDE FOOD INTO THIS RESTAURANT." Who eats HALAL food and wants to bring into this food court? Oops....... Muslim people eat HALAL food!! Are they also restricting non-Muslim who eats HALAL food into the food court? I know lots of my non-Muslim friends who eats HALAL food. Are they gonna be restricted also.

This is no difference to some job advertisements that says, "Mandarin-speaking only". I'm sure it is a very subjective issue, but since we live in a racially-harmony community, why not just say, "WE PREFER CHINESE ONLY." Nothing wrong isn't it. Same goes to the other races, "WE PREFER MALAYS ONLY" - the advertiser can't say "MALAY-SPEAKING ONLY" coz the older generation of non-Malays all speaks fluent Malay.

Take note that this is not a racist post or to generate racial tension. I'm just pointing out that since the government and the mass media are all promoting racial-harmony, why trying to be discrete?? At least we know, where, who and how to approach such issues.

If the advertisement says, "MALE-WORKING ENVIRONMENT" - does it mean it's for Gays? I used to work where it says, "ALCOHOL-DRINKING ENVIRONMENT". But non beats "BACK-STABBING ENVIRONMENT"......... I hear it applies to many places......... "the quest for personal glory...".

Aite..... I know many have already seen this vidz from my FB. Anyway, I'm putting it up in this blog for a different purpose and for those who can't access my FB page. Btw, I've got consent from this kid's family to use their video....... so, if this kid belongs to someone you know, don't bother about bringing up any 'copyright issue'. I've settled my dues with the family and IPOS. (Now that you know what IPOS is, go read what's all the fuss about.....)

Issues aside, the reason why I'm posting this, is to proof to some idiots that HOUSE music is not boring and it is danceable. To those who think that HOUSE music has no rhythm or melody, you just got shamed by this little kid. It's all about what you feel inside. If you can't groove to any music, you just don't have it in you. It's OK if you don't like HOUSE music...... as long as you stay away from places that only plays HOUSE. But again, IDIOTS are not called IDIOTS for no reason. Just look the post about 'night-out at Stereolab'. Those idiots that took the guest DJ's drinks would definitely go as crazy and idiotic, even if the club was playing RnB & Hip Hop. I'm sure they were not there because of the music....... it's the white boys. They were hoping for a 'better future'.

In fact, I was told that HipHop DJs have the same problem as the HOUSE DJs. In one of the HipHop clubs in Mohd Sultan, where the music policy is RnB and HipHop, there are people who would actually ask for Tektonik....... (I just learnt what 'TEKTONIK' music is. Back then, I think we called it Euro-Dance - remember when Boat Quay use to promote these music?)

First of all, I don't see any resemblence in style, dance or 'soulfulness' between HipHop, RnB and Tektonik. So, how come people ask these kind of music in HipHop clubs?? While looking for answers in Youtube, I found clips of the song above. Apparently, they like singing along to the song....... just like Retro. Then, at some part of the song, they'll shout the names of Housing estates. Not sure if they are so proud of their GRC or it's part of community-togetherness. I wonder what if they play during National Day, would they go like....... "Yo-ah-yo, Xing Xia Poh..... Ah-ah, Singapura....!!" (but, must play same song ah.)

In fact, if these people can be as passionate about their housing estate during S-League games, New Paper need not have to give reasons why WE should watch and support S-League.

1. Better Foreigners? (have they heard of ASIA BAGUS....?)
2. French-flair? (I prefer French-Kiss)
3. Eye-catching jerseys...???? (err.. you mean costumes?)
4. Hunks galore? (are they promoting Gay-culture since majority who watch are guys..)
5. Wonderkid from 2006? ( since it is now 2010, is he still a kid?)
6. Cheap and Good? (curry puff at $2 is not cheap, if it has no egg and meat.... it's not good!)
7. Freebies..? (free-entry to games?? I don't think so.)
8. Jalan Besar to South Africa?? (I can't go watch S-League in Africa, gotta work tmw....)
9. Close title race..... (what race...? the only race is at Kranji.)
10. Weekly coverage from football paper....??? (Weekly?? 4D results got better coverage)

FAN CLUB - sorry, I was wrong.......(pffft!)

In relation to the previous post, someone corrected me and said that I was stoopid. To that person, thank you for correcting me. You just won yourself a Denon DJ headphones HP500.

According to the reader, FAN club was referring to ..........

Goodness gracious....... how stoopid can I be (....rolling eyes). I should have known that!! All the invites are actually asking me to join their fan club. I'm embarassed...... really embarassed of my ignorance. (..... eyes still rolling)

wait-a-minute............ if you wanna be a fan, don't you have to know the person first? then, don't you have to like the person or what he/she does? or maybe be 'fanatically enthusiastic' about what the person does......?? Isn't being a fan is a voluntary act of passion? hmmmm...... I get invited to be a fan!!! Am I suppose to be feeling special or something....??

err...... kinda confuse now. Need my double-shot Vanilla Latte Grande..... I can't think.... confused!! (.....pfffft!!!)
FAN CLUB

Recently, I notice that there's an influx of fan clubs. Not only in FACEBOOK, but nearly everybody networking portal in cyber is trying to capitalize on this fad. Seriously, I think it is unfair to the other clubs, or maybe I don't understand why, suddenly, people are excited to join FAN clubs. What actually happen to the other clubs like, Oprah Book Club, Police Boys Club, Turf Club, Orchid Country Club, etc...... Why the sudden interest with fans??! In fact, why is a fan club so special than a golf club. I had to Google the net for a proper definition of a fan.....

Damn....... are we getting over-educated or what??!! A club for "FILE AREA NETWORK"..??? No shit this crap is heavy-duty, man!! "FREE AMINO NITROGEN" club...??!! WTF!! I'm feeling very left-out. I feel cheated coz my teacher didn't teach me about these things. Now, everybody is joining these clubs...... and I don't even know what it means.

However, I notice that there many nice people in FACEBOOK. Despite of me being ignorant of these clubs, some of them have gracefully invited me to join their FAN Club.

if you're hot, join a fan club

To all of them, thank you very much for the kind gesture. In due time, I will definitely join these clubs, which is after I understand what is it all about. It's just that, I want to make sure which kind of FAN I wanna be. The "FREE AMINO NITROGEN" club sounds cool, but I don't want to associated with any terrorist group (shit sounds like weapons of mass destruction).

Now, I gotta go find myself a fan...... it's freakin' hot here in the woods.

In the meantime, Chingay Party is coming...... they need more fan-man.

P.S. - Does Chingay means "China Gay"?? (.... which means Happy China). In LA, they have a sub-ethnic group of the Hispanics, called Gaytinos. Is this the same??

Ok people, this one I have to bitch. Its funny, stupid, idiotic and embarassing at the same time. I was at Stereolab just now with friends for drinks. At the same time, trying to catch the guest DJ, Toni Granello.

This incident happened while Toni was getting ready for his set, sorting his CDs. In the meantime, Godwin was busy on the decks. I was behind the console with the other resident, Edward.

Out of nowhere, 4 girls (2 Pinoy, 1 Malay and 1 very smelly girl - not mentioning the race) came hurrying to the console and handed Toni 2 drink coupons. 1 of the girls said, "2 Vodka cranberry!!"..... Since the music was very loud, Toni didn't get what they were saying. He turned to Godwin and ask what was that. Godwin said it's drink coupons. Toni turned to the girls, thinking that they gave him drink coupons as a 'local gesture', said thanks and kept it in his jeans. He continued to sort his CDs. They stoopid girls then shouted, "Hey!! I want my Vodka cranberry!!"

At this point, Edward and me was already laughing like hell, realizing the idiots thinking that the console is the bar. I don't know how or why they think it's a bar. Somehow, the 'smelly girl' whispered something to her friends, which made them realized that it's not a bar. The Pinoy girl then ask Toni for her drink coupons back. Once again, because the music was already pumping hard, Toni couldn't hear them. He just grabbed one of his freebies (T-shirt) and gave the girl. He thought it was a return gesture as they gave him something. To our surprise, that stoopid girl threw the t-shirt back at Toni and ask for her drink. I think Toni was pissed by their reaction that he ignored them. One of the girls then stretch her hands and grabbed Toni's bottle of Belvedere and help herself and her friends to the drinks. Damn it, we all look in shocked. What worst, she stopped at the 3rd glass and ask Toni to pour her a glass of vodka, which he obliged. WTF!!!

Moments later, they left for the dancefloor when Toni took to the decks. So we thought that was it for the idiotic incident. I called it IDIOTIC because, how different is it a DJ console and a bar?? Nevermind that they don't know the DJs or whoever. It's typical right? These are just posers who go to clubs because everyone is there.

About 10 mins into Toni's set, I saw the IDIOTS again. This time they were right in front of the console taking pictures. Normal? Sure..... One of the girl, stretched her hand into the console, trying to pass Toni, the guest DJ, her camera, asking him to take pictures of them dancing. WTF!!! Toni ignored her, but she kept pushing the camera to him. She gave up after 3mins (try looking at your watch and see how long is 3 minutes)....

Freaking idiots infesting Stereolab on a Friday night. But again, what's new? Intelligent music don't really attract intelligent people. I left moments later. Outside, told Godwin and the operations manager about it. They had the same reaction........ none said a word, only the mouth wide open. Face expression was priceless. Good luck guys!! WTF!!

In the meantime, here's Toni's big track taken from Hed Kandi compilation......

While Googling and doing some research work and finishing an article for E-Tech Magazine, I stumble on some old photos. Not very old but enough to bring back good memories. The photos were taken back in 2006 or 2007 at a posh joint called Hacienda at Dempsey. Not sure if it's still there.

Had a gig there with my Tektile crew when it just opened. Full-on NuJazz 'live' like nobody even knew it exist in Singapore. I remembered very well coz, that was one gig where I had to pull my UDG record bag up the hill. Yup back then, I was still on wax and nothing else. The art of DJ-ing was intact and real DJs (who actually get booked), use vinyls only. Unfortunately, I heard nowadays, you can get booked even by playing non-stop mixed tracks on an iPod.......... all you need to do is convince some club operator with 'very-happening-yesteryear' stories. And, don't forget to 'butter-up' and offer to buy drink. You'll get sorted out.

Back then, you can't even hide your iPod coz there's always someone over at the console. And most of them knows what the shit you're doing. But again, what's there to hide....?? Wax on, Wax off....... can means CAN!!

THE MAGIC MAID

This is a kind of posting that you'll get when hangin'-out with a bunch of 'gerfwens' and 'bofwens'..... over a pot of Passion Fruit BOH Tea, packet of tomato-Twisties, fried-wanton and a packet of cigarettes. Some may feel like sharing similar stories, while others may just learn something. The following story was NOT taken from Incredible Tales, but it could be part of the next series.

****************************************

For the past 5 years, my aunt and her family in Yew Tee have had 3 maids. The first one lasted 2 years, second one 6 mths and the last one is still with the family till this day. All their maids were Indonesians. This is a story about the second maid. She was called Susi. (Any coincidence or resemblance is purely accidental. But then again...... who gives a shit!!)

When Susi first arrived to my aunt's family, she was a quiet person. The first few days was normal for a new maid. She always looked down when talking to my aunt and uncle, and never answered back. All was proper and they family was quite well taken care.

After about a month with the family, Susi was very much accustomed to the surrounding and she became part of the family. It is quite normal for a Malay family to treat their maids like a family, and not like a 'slave'. Susi was allowed to watch TV with the family, communicate with other members of our relatives and eat with the family. Most times, she would hangout with my aunt in the kitchen and sometimes they would go out shopping together. Many months past and nobody suspect anything.

After about 5 mths, my aunt did a lil' family gathering where all the relatives would come by and spent the whole day at her house. This was my first time at her house after a year. I got to her place at about 2pm that day. At the void deck, I met an uncle who also haven't been there for the past year. We went up together to the house which was on the 2nd floor. When we got to the house, before entering, I had goosebumps all over. Didn't took notice and went in. After my 3rd step in the house, I immediately turned and walked out. Didn't realise why I did that but it seems automatic. Stayed outside the door and lighted a cigi. Minutes later, the uncle who came with me, walked out of the house and said that something's wrong in the house. He said, the maid looks 'different'. Unfortunately, he didn't elaborate how different was 'different'.

nothing different wat...??!

The next day, my Mom was talking about the gathering at my aunt's house. She said, the maid acts like the house belongs to her. She sits watching TV while the rest were in the kitchen, she talks with a demanding tone, and she walks into my aunts bedroom like she sleeps in there. I also told her what my uncle told me. We soon realised something was amiss in that house.

A few days later, after some investigation (which I didn't know about), they had a meeting in my house. The maid was present. This time, she stood quietly at one corner (relak one corner - it's a Malay thing). Another uncle came along and asked her what she kept in her purse. (Prior to these, according to Mom, they had asked other people about such incidents or the Indonesian maid's practice.) Susi, the maid, at first refuse to acknowledge the question. After much persuasion and threat to deport her back, she relent and took out everything in her purse. Everything seems normal....... except for a black cloth tied with a gold thread. In that cloth, we found - a fingernail, 4 strands of hair which feels like tungsten, a pin and dried garlic.

(to keep the story short and easier to read..... this is not a novel, you know!!)

According to her, some of her maid-friends gave it to her before they went back home to Indonesia. Those items apparently, will make the house-owner succumb to her and let her be the 'boss'. She will be seen as the one with authority and no one will ill-treat her. When asked why did she wanna do that? She claimed that she heard about employers who ill-treat maids in Singapore.

Susi was reported to the agent and she was sent back the next day.

The good thing is that.... my aunt's family was only 'hypnotized' not to ill-treat the maid. There were stories shared with me where, a maid used her soiled pad to seduce the man-of-the-house. Hence, took over control of the family and their money. I think that's more serious. In fact, there are friends who shared stories not about Indonesian maids, but also, Pinoy and Sri Lankan maids. Each with their fare share and ways of 'magic tricks'. One story I heard about a Pinoy maid was, she purposely sleep in nighties, without any undergarments and open her room door. So that her boss, a 40-yr old lawyer, could get a glimpse of 'her'. She was hoping to seduce him, get into a relationship and live happily ever-after. Much later on, she found out her lawyer-boss was GAY. Damn!!

This is not Susi.... nor the Pinoy maid.
This is Victor (by day), - Victoria (by night)
Gefwen vs Bofwen......

Today, I overheard a couple of young ladies talking (I was eaves-dropping). They were talking about their other friends. I'm sure they were talking about their close friends coz they were citing 'my girlfriends', which means their close friends who are girls. I think it's pretty common for that right?

How come we guys can't do that? We can't call our buddies or homeboys 'boyfriends'?? If we do that, it means we're GAY. It refers to an intimate relationship. Why can't it refers to 'close male friends'? Is there something wrong with the grammar, or any particular structural grammar policy that I don't know about?

Girl to Boyfriend : Baby, I'm meeting my girlfriends tonight. We going for coffee.

(Guys version) : Sweetie, I'm gonna hangout with my boys tonight. U go play with the dildo, k?

Why can't the guy say : Sweetie, I'm meeting my boyfriends tonight...... it's Sunday remember?

(one of) THE GOD-FATHER of HOUSE - FRANKIE KNUCKLES

Nope, that's not Titus. It's Frankie Knuckles on crutches.

During dinner today, I was struck with 'sinus-attack'. Couldn't stop sneezing and the body started to shutdown. Initially, I had planned to visit an old buddy (mentor) Godwin P at Stereolab. The sinus was very bad that I wanted to just go home and snuggle up........ alone. Fortunately, my-other-half talked me into going to Pan Pacific hotel and just say 'Hi'. Why I said 'fortunately'.....? When we got to the lobby, met Godwin and Frankie, who was about to check-in. Yup, Frankie is gig-ing at Stereolab tmw night.

Some of you might be wondering..... "WTF am I so hard-up with Frankie Knuckles?" Well, to cut the story short, Frankie Knuckles to me is like Micheal Jackson to all you mofos. Yup, he's big in my books. Some of you might just brushed aside and say, "So what?? We met him before, hungout or jammed with him before...... bla, bla, bla....." Well, fark off...... Don't I have the right to look-up to someone?? Tis' my shit!! I say and do what I want!!

Anyway, Frankie was very cool when I asked for a photo. He even said something about the "SESAME STREET" tee I was wearing (not sure what it was but it was something like "I dig SESAME STREET...") So, we cuddled up for the photo, Godwin shook his head in disbelief and laughed. WTF, I grew up listening to HOUSE because of Frankie Knuckles. Then, we exchange handshakes and planned to hangout tmw at Stereolab. That means, Frankie in DJ console, me standing outside pretending to be cool. And for the next 2 hours, the sinus was gone and I was freakin' fine!! Could it be the music and sound at Stereolab? Could it be Frankie? or Could it be the lady by my side?

On the way home, the sinus struck again and I'm really feeling achy. Oh boy, gotta take medication......

Tis' ain't no revolution....... it's just love. (to each his own.....)

There's more vidz, but I guess you get the drift.......

Now, bring back the soul in music.

Reincarnation or just a bad dream??

Closing Ceremony of the National Stadium - 30th June 2007

This morning I woke up, switched on the TV and had a great shock. Not 'big-shock'.... but 'great-shock'. When I switched on the TV, the repeat Singapore-Iran game was on. I wasn't shocked that Singapore lost, its expected, Iran is a very good team with lots of European-based players. I was a lil' bit amazed that the Singapore jersey is now sponsored by NIKE. I thought it was PUMA, then GRANDSPORT, then TIGER. Didn't even know there was a sports brand called TIGER.

Anyway, what was shocking to me was....... the NATIONAL STADIUM was still there!!!!! Wow!! Isn't it a miracle?? I thought it was gone ;-)?? Didn't they had a closing ceremony on 30th June 2007? Scheduled to be demolished end of 2007? Scheduled for the new Singapore Sports Hub in 2014?

Isn't this already 2010? Or am I ahead of time? Isn't 2007 was like 3 years ago? Why isn't the National Stadium being demolished yet? Not enough construction companies to do the job coz all rushing to finish the IR jobs?? Or, are they contemplating about the sports hub? Does the new sports hub is also a front to house the new 'foreign talents' that's gonna help represent Singapore in the future sport meets? And when they're done, they gonna go back to their mother-land and bitch about Singapore?

Or maybe, someone is contemplating whether the new sports hub is a worth investment or build more condominiums? We are short of the 8 million target of population in Singapore. Obviously, the condominiums is a better bet. We all know in Singapore, the music, art and sports scene will not make any of us millionaires. Why invest in these things??

So....... back in 2007, the government spent a hefty amount to celebrate the closure of national Stadium. Unfortunately, it didn't close. In fact, events are still running there and they are still collecting money for the events at the National Stadium. First, we 'helped' pay for the event to celebrate the closure, and now...... we still paying to get into the stadium to watch the games and events.

And, we seem to be celebrating about it........

(YAWN..........)

I was reading some stuff on cyber last night and stumbled on a local forum. I just realized that people are still talking about the Singapore Idol results, bashing each other's comments and and the same time postings racial comments all over the place. In fact, the SG Idol issue was also screened on Channel NewsAsia's BlogTV. Yes, it created lots of shit (as how we call it). Btw, I'm not blogging about the SG Idol....... I'm just giving my opinion about this crap.

Why are people still fussing over the SG Idol? It's over, Sezairi won, Sylvia came in 2nd. I didn't say she lost, but she came 2nd. What's wrong? So, another Malay won.... what's wrong? Is he gonna change the government? Increase road tax, ERP charges, take over government? NO right? If he has an album out under Universal Music, would it smash records? I don't think so coz less than 1% of locals actually support their own artiste. Then, why the fuss?

Personnaly, for me, as an industry insider, I would really love to see Sylvia win. It's because she can add some zest to the industry as a 'female soloist'. It doesn't matter if her album gonna do good or not, it doesn't matter if she is good enough for Asian Idol..... what I know, some of them will end up in the nightlife scene, in order to fulfill their ambition as full-time singers. On top of that, we would definitely wanna hear stories of label executives trying to get into Sylvia's pants. Oh c'mon......... it would be much interesting isn't it. Unfortunately, Sezairi won. And I think he is a better singer, performer, musician. Live with it. Why still bitch about it? We've got bigger issues!!!! Serious issues that we need to talk about and solve!!

People!! We need to find out where is the faggot that got groped by the banglas at Siloso Countdown Party!!! We need to find out if the faggot hid the lil' dingding in the ass, or, did he/she cut if off...??!! If it's really a faggot, why in the hell are people talking about it so much? Maybe they like to be groped by banglas..... at least they got some action. Whether they using ghee, butter or KY....... it doesn't matter isn't it??! Let it go, there isn't any Police reports about molest cases. Police are not searching, why do we even bother??!

If you wanna bother...... think about how much the Gatecrasher organisers lost during NYE?? That would be interesting to bitch about. Here's an advice to wanna-be promoters........ try listening to industry-players and not glorify your past.

Btw, there isn't much pictures to share for this post. But here's something to remind you of the faggots........

I told you they like it being groped.........

remember our ol' fwen.........??
(if this is your first time seeing this..... she's the one who forgot to tuck her balls in.)

I've got to share this ........

Yesterday, while running errands and some window shopping at Great World City, I experienced something that I thought could only happen in Russel Peters comedy act. When it happened to me, I had to share this with you people!!

I was looking at a pair of shoes in a shop with no intention at all to buy. A staff approached and spoke in salivated-Engrish, convincing me to take a seat and try the pair of shoe. Told her I was just looking at it..... Anyway, I obliged and took a seat after telling her that my preferred shoe size is 10 half U.S.

She came back later, hand me the shoe and said......

Staff : Sir, how about size 9?
Me : Huh?? (I was taken aback by her dumbness of trying to negotiate my shoe size)
Staff : Try size 9 lor... maybe can.
Me : How about I can't change my shoe size?
Staff : Sir, u must try first. You don't try, you won't know.....
Me : WTF??!! I need size 10 half.
Staff : No more 10 half.... try size please. Maybe can.

Another staff member joined in the conversation......

2nd staff : Sir, maybe your socks is too thick.
Me : Are you blaming my socks now? How can it be thick? It's NIKE Dri-Fit socks.
2nd staff : Maybe try our socks........
Me : Huh?? WTF??

Maybe these staff get commission just by making people sit and try on shoes and socks. I didn't know that size 9 is equivalent to size 10 half......? I don't even know that people negotiate about shoe size.

For those of you who are familiar with Russel Peters shows, you would remember his skit about retails staff trying to negotiate his shoes and pant's size. This morning I called Russel and told him about the incident. He didn't laugh, in fact, he said, "Do you think I was making that shit up? That thing really happen..... in CHINA!!"

If you're wondering how true this story is, or wanna try for yourself...... go to EVERBEST at GWC, level 1 opposite Body Shop. Must ask for a pair of men's semi-high shoes, size 10 half. See what kind of response you get.

SHIET!!!!!
