Its sucks that nearly most of the shops in Orchard Road are playing this song, or some other reggeaton track. Does it help with the sales.......?? I can understand if 77th Street is playing hip hop or reggeaton.... but shops like Aldo, Isetan and Evita Peron..?? maybe soon Kenny Rogers diner will play hip hop instead of the normal country music........

That's one reason why I always shop at ZARA - they always have good soulful/deep or latin house tracks on air......

Today was a good morning for soccer with old friends. It rained, being boys, we decided to carry on playing .... unfortunately, the knees gave way and got dislocated again...... damn!

What a way spending Sunday with an injured knee and a nonsensical movie coming later.... HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL??!!

If the knees ease up a bit, I'm gonna go for beer & pizza. (so much for sunday morning exercise!!)

To have warmed-up for FORT KNOX 5 & end JonH's set, was an HONOUR.....

To share the same console with this guy (JonH of Fort Knox 5) is a blessing.....

For him to rip the tracks that I dropped, was just 'awesomely' flattering.....

After a quick shopping trip on Orchard Road, Me and couple more mates hopped on a yellow-top taxi to return to gallery Hotel. An innocent-looking uncle-driver picked us up and drove us to our destination.

The short ride nearly turned to a roller-coaster ride with bumps, screeching-brakes and sudden swerves... even when there were no other cars around. once, we approached a hump, downhill... he didn't slow down...... everyone in the cab had our butts in mid-air..!!! Best thing... he said, "AIYOH!!"

When we reach at the hotel, he had the cheek to say........

"$3.50.... SINGAPORE TAXI VERY CHEAP!!!" - then I replied, "Ya! cheap and bumpy!!!"

Obviously, he thought we were tourist... as we were all speaking in foreign tones!!!

Cheap My foot......!!! name me anything that's cheap??!

Even Ol' Chang Kee Bastard (must pronouce with a Western slang) cost us $6/- for 2 sotong heads, 1 sotong ball, 1 breaded prawn and a curry-O.......... BLOODY SOTONG!!

One more time that ass-hole come to us and ask for Retro music, complain that we are boring, my staff are rude and un-inspiring, and threaten with "...do you know who i am??" - I'll make sure he end up just like the seal. The only difference is..... ITS WRONG TO DO TO THE SEAL, BUT ITS OK TO DO TO PEOPLE WHO THINKS THEY OWN THE COMPANY AND PAY MY SALARY!!

Here's proof that I did played a Breaks set during the Asian All Stars DJ competition recently. One of the judges was Eddie Raguido aka EK - a DJ/Producer from Melbourne Australia. However, it was an impromptu set with only 6 tracks to play with..... C'MON TOSHI!!



Here's another video of the Denon DJ showcase on the new MP3 controller HD-2500. Next time, we'll go for gigs carrying just iPod, external HDD and headphones.... how's that....??

Phew!!!!! what a week...!!

I'm all exhausted, burned...... nothing left in the veins..... monday is just 24hrs away (SUCKS!!), yet I can't remember what's coming up even when there's lots to do next week. Everybody seem to be telling me the same shit over and over again..... take a break.. yeah right!!

Its not fun anymore, and it isn't funny...... people are getting on my nerves, music has become noise, alcohol is now poison. The smoking ban is really irritating.....

Group holiday is still a month's away..... not looking forward to it...... rather have my own time somewhere else..... away from everyone.

Everyone has been talking about the 'Smoking ban' in entertainment outlets.... some saw the positive side of it, while the rest are pretty unhappy and keeps bitching about it...... There are some whom like me, can't be bothered and, have nothing to say. Too much talking from Singaporeans but there hasn't been anyone who actually stand up and voice suggestions. Give it a couple of months, everyone will settle down and be happy about it.... just like the rest of the other times..... CRAP!!


The most CRAPPY thing about the ban is ....... WE WOULDN'T BE GETTING GOOD BONUSES!!.... Reason being, sales will be down, patrons will stay away and clubs will be half filled. After that, the DJs will be blamed again - coz there's not much people in the club..... must be wrong music again.... Last Saturday being a good night, some clever manager asked the DJs to change music (just b'coz a club near VIVO City was doing so)...... the room went from 800 pax to 300 pax in 10 mins!! SO MUCH FOR "TESTING WATER...." - and guess what happens after that..?? must be the DJs again....!! Whatever la....... its just CRAP!


I wonder how the typical party-goers who are smokers feel with the smoking room away from the dancefloor..... Imagine the typical Singaporean party-goer who keeps asking the DJ for requests... just when they go smoking.... the DJ put on the song!! hah!! then wat??!! go ask the song again...?? farkers!!!

Just when everyone thought it was gonna be a long dreadful sunday... out came the one and only MR INCREDIBLY-IRRITATING!!..... I'm sure he helped to put on smiles on some people's faces and made the sunday worthwhile. Nevertheless, it could have been better if there were single moms to catch the 'Superhero' in action... I'm sure the costume would have raised some eyebrows...... and raced the heartbeat.

After all the laughter and sniggering and 'butt-pinching' from the parents and kids alike..... the superhero went home drained-out, leaving the costume away from the eyes of the public....
