I didn't know that having too much orange in ur system can cause hallucinations... it's something like getting' high on weed or those other things (that we don't get to try here). I know u guys are hallucinating also... (saw something, right?)

The Lunar New Year not really over, people are still in the mood to gamble, merry-drinking and I'm still getting 'ang pows' from people I don't know. COOL!

Went to new year lunch yesterday with the bosses and the did the traditional things... Yu-sheng tossing, watching them eating the baby pig, slurping to frog's saliva, abalone and shark's fin soup.
I was told that these was how the royalties eat during ancient China. Damn......
Why would the emperor and their families would want to play with their food (tossing of Yu-Sheng), kill young animal and devour on the skin (the baby pig), wat does the frog's and swallow's saliva can do that is a delicacy? I thought eating shark's fin was illegal? or is it in other country?

Or..... is it another case of "WHATEVER MOVE WE EAT, WHATEVER RUN WE BET...!"

Every year, during this lunch thingy, i feel very special. I get to choose other types of food. something which I CAN eat. (they say the pork can eat, its HALAL. circumcised already. haha. Ang Moh also circumcised, but not many girls want them anymore - they prefer asian guys - ASIA BAGUS.) back to the food. I had prawns fried with salted egg yolk, crabmeat sambal fried rice, steamed garoupa and some other uninteresting stuff. Apart from the food, I get special treatment as I'm the only Malay/Muslim manager in the group. This year was a change as there were 2 other Malay/Muslim manager who attended the lunch.

All in all.... It was a good session for everyone. The commaradarie among the outlet managers were very good, and now they know when to 'kowtow' to THIS guy!

Now got wait for the 4D results....

The next few days will be tough for me and some of my staffs. Its sad that situation like this has to happen. I'm one of those people who doesn't know how to break bad news to close friends. Unfortunately, if I don't do it, my ass will be the next to go.

Once, a wise old man told me.... "don't employ people you can't sack." Well, I did. I've help them cover their asses all this while so they can help themselves, their family and god-know-who-else. Its quite sad also that people take their jobs for granted, knowing there are many others who are dying to have a job.

To me this is a "do-or-die' situation. Bad enough that I was given the ultimatum to decide on what's gonna happen in my circle.

To all who came for the 'intro' party at eM...... thank you very much! to those who paid the cover charge.... WTF??!! ya man!! wtf??!!

Thank you once again for all the feedback.... really appreciate it. I will try and make the necessary changes where possible. However, please understand that it's not Liquid Room anymore, and the club is not designed to match the former occupant.

Yukun and P@T was awesome. It was an honour to share the decks with such DJs. I hope to help them host their nights as and when the situation permits.



Being the first non-smoking club is a big challenge. But to see people getting to know one another at the smoking area was sweet.......

I got thrashed not from the drinks........ just got too tired from all the work and stress. trust me, you don't want to be in my shoes...... yet. An hour of prep talk from the directors really helped in putting back my confidence and spirits in the right place.

I was watching a documentary this morning about animals in captivity...... one prominent thing I realised is that, the animals actually eat better than most people in Africa, Sumatra, Iraq,.......
There was one part where the polar bear had peanut butter, watermelon, frozen salmon, and a whole tub of milk. To alot of the people in Uganda and other parts of remote Africa, those are luxury of life!! In fact, even in parts of Asia, people don't get such good food like the polar bear had.


Currently, there's a campaign called END Poverty. Its been showing on cable tv. They were talking about money spent for arms were far more than the amount for food support and other needs for UNICEF. and then, you'll see the politicians coming out and do the normal blah, blah, blah.....

The truth is.... is there any real truth in any of them?? are they really helping or just trying to get more votes??

Recently, in Singapore, we had a campaign run by some funny-looking people from NKF. its called "END THE PEOPLE IN POVERTY" - you see, this group of people take the effort of trying to end the life of people in poverty. The campaign was so successful that it had major coverage from all forms of media in Singapore. In fact, it made some people became very famous and reach celebrity status.

Another interesting campaign was the SPEAK MANDARIN campaign. Started years ago when I couldn't tie my own shoelaces. Now we know why the campaign........ so that its easier to communicate with the girls in Karaoke room!! - I'm impressed!! impress with our officials.....

good planning and great execution of plans.... it took 20 over years, but it worked like how they want it!!! Great lesson learned!! hats off everyone!!!
