The mix was done in tribute to Global-Warming Awareness Concert which will run consecutively throughout the whole world.... and also to my buddy, Melvin Goh.... getting hitched on that day.....!! (you sure you want me as your best man??)

Yesterday was somehow such a busy day for me..... not complaining but I did some things that I didn't think I would do ever again...... Met up with some old friends and end up playing soccer..... again. Just like the good 'ol days in school. its been quite a while since I last played soccer, not sure if I could actually kick a ball...... anyway, we played soccer. Suprised that I still have some 'deft-touches' to go along with the buldging stomach. Didn't play too long though.... the age is catching, late nights and the drinking is really not helping. I just realised how unhealthy I am..... I miss those days when I was still a Singapore player (sepaktakraw), representing the nation at the SEA games. FIT AS A FIDDLE.....!!

Its freaking Monday...... my body is aching all over.... the thighs, shoulders, calf.... and everything u can think off. Yesterday's soccer session is enough exercise for me to last the next 6 months!!! Or maybe, I should try again next week...??? hmmm....???

I'll go look for my Man Utd jersey and practise my "Cantona Kick"....




Anyway, its a soccer session for veterans.... come join if you're 35 yrs and above... and like touching another man's bum...

We've just finished our Sat night Electro party..... same ol' same ol' people.... We got a couple of guest DJs.... not too bad..... music all over the place but people seem to like it as it was their friends on the decks.

Next friday...... Fred E and CDJ Ben from the Progressions crew...... interesting night. Oh.... its gonna be Trance (the real thing, not something u hear from Joo Chiat pub)

and we're still waiting for Debbie Chia to come on board.

Gonna go home and finish up the questionnaire for Red Bull Music Academy. Not really hoping to win the trip but its gonna be cool if i get selected for the Toronto trip in Sept/Oct and represent Singapore for the academy. Ever heard of the Red Bull couple......?? Nevermind......

Friday was weird, man! the club was quiet when suddenly everyone came in started partying like they never partied before. Took over the decks at 2am to let Yukun do his PR (and save myself from the drinking). It suddenly when crazy! the drinks were killers!! the japanese Sochu (above) is deadly man!! worse than tequila....!! YUCK!

Folks, next time if u see me on deck duties, please DO NOT offer me drinks..... especially the shots!!! PLEASE NO!!!!

Films That Left An Impression This Week......


The film above is from Malaysia which won numerous international awards. Its a story about an Ah Beng VCD seller who fell in love with a sweet malay girl. In fact, the Malay girls fell in love with the Ah Beng who looks like the Japanese soap star - Takeheshi KanninaButo...... Its a heart-warming film with showcases the human feelings regardless of race, language and religion...... one people one nation same penetration different direction.... the end was a challenge to the male ego. My take is that, this film is at least 20 more times better than Titanic!! In fact, all films are better than Titanic!


This here is my all-time fav film..... let you in the secrecy.... the witty dialogues can help you in your social life..... I can seriously vouch for that!! Nuff said!!

Big Time!!

After a super-long-stressful week, I was left with nothing in my cells to even think of doing anything. Fatigue has took over and its ruining everything. I mean EVERYTHING!!

This weekend is suppose to be an interesting one..... meeting and spending time with loved ones and everybody else close to us. I was really looking forward to this meeting as it could really help me draft how the future can look like..... (wishful thinking)

Unfortunately, fatigue took control and everything turned to dust...... i had no relevant explanation to not being able to wake up and make my presence. Ya, i was tired..... always been tired... but who cares..?!

It seems like history gonna repeat itself.... again and again, and again, and again.

Fatigue due to....?? over-........?? relationships, social life and family commitments failure due to .......?? Unable to commit due to ........?? i think its unfair to solely blame ..........., but maybe I didn't set my priorities right according to situations.......

*Sigh*........

Today I had a DJ trainee who flew in from India for the Denon DJ crash course. Cool Indian dude from Delhi... apparently, he's one of the top execs from monster.com who's office is in Boston. I wouldn't say it was fun doing a crash course which runs 6-hours as he's only in town today for the course. Fortunately, this guy is a fast learner..... understand what its all about and party every other day....

I wouldn't say he can already mix... but being able to put 2 songs together, chop mix, and levelling the bpms together is quite a feat in 4 hours..... i let him spend his last 2 hours playing with the equiments and getting the hang of the DENON DJ players.....

and another good thing.... he buy drinks during breaks.....

Next week, DJ workshop/seminar for 3 corporate companies..... awesome........!!

i was sitting at the bar today doing some work on the lap-top when a couple walked in and sat on the table next to mine. Both ordered champagne and looked very proper. It seems that they just started dating as they were like telling a lil' things about themselves to each other. I overheard some of the conversation which sounds so cheesy...... but that's what people in love would say.... the guy said to the girl.....

Guy: i like your name very much!! Victoria is such a powerful name..... someday, I would like to learn more about you...... and I bet you fit in the name Victoria's Secret..!!

Oh My God...!! how cheesy can that be..??!! Anyway, he might be in for a major surprise.... I hope!!

Staff Party in Hong Kong...??? Yay...!!!!!!!

Great!!! that means most of the Muslim staff won't go coz food will be a problem..... everyday can eat over-prized MacDonald's. Then, we get to rush back to Singapore and leave hotel at 5am in the morning... we can go to dodgy karaoke bars or techno joints, or even the rowdy-Irish pubs....
and last but not least....SHOPPING!!!!!! too bad other countries got no shopping paradise like Hong Kong.....

Can't wait!

Few years back... someone with a big brain and pocket, had an idea. He wanted to do a massive beach party and turn into a festival. That guy eventually did it even though many think its crap, lame, waste of money and stuff....... When it did happen and made a huge impact in the region... many others wanted to follow suit and jumped on the bandwagon.... unfortunately.... non ever succeed. The reason being.. there were no passion, no idea, no knowledge of what the hell its all about. Those people were just thinking with the brains clogged in alcohol and cheap ideas that not even China wants to replicate.....

Recently, some local boys made a huge impact on a party in an international dance club (like nobody know what I'm talking about...). Huge meaning..... HUGE !!!!.... the amount of support, response, respect, bla, bla, bla...... till today, people are still talking about it... even though I'm not one of those boys, I'm glad to say that it happen because of sheer hard work, the ability to listen and understand, lots of alcohol and good understanding of the clubbing culture in Singapore.

Recently also, I've met with too many people who suddenly have bright ideas of doing the same thing..... Is this a sign of history repeating itself....? or... just plain ignorant...?

A certain event or party became succesful because of many other blind factors..... sometimes its just pure luck..... sometimes its fate..... but rest assure it got lots to do with good and proper planning, and excellent execution.

Recently, I had the opportunity to meet and hangout with 2 different set of girls.....(some guys have some luck)..... one group was from the Deal or No Deal girls, the other was some of the MSU contestants (didn't hangout, just observing from 5 ft away).....

I realised that there were whole loads of difference from these 2 groups of beauties.... and this was agreed by 4 other friends who were there with me.... It gives the meaning of 'Beauty & Brains' a totally new definition.......

That's what beauty is all about....... i think....?!

I can't really say the same for the other party coz I've only seen a few of them who tries very hard to be a diva...... and its not fair to stereotype the rest. Anyway, like they say... live like there's no tomorrow..... until Annie comes along and sing her song! - (the inability to get this last sentence will put you in the MSU category...)
