The picture above was taken from a food court in VivoCity. I believe the above phrase is grammatically correct. Not sure if there's anything wrong with having such sign outside the food stall. However, I don't find the rationality of restricting HALAL food into another food station. What wrong has the HALAL food do to be restricted into the other food court? Isn't it better if the sign says, "DO NOT BRING OUTSIDE FOOD INTO THIS RESTAURANT." Who eats HALAL food and wants to bring into this food court? Oops....... Muslim people eat HALAL food!! Are they also restricting non-Muslim who eats HALAL food into the food court? I know lots of my non-Muslim friends who eats HALAL food. Are they gonna be restricted also.

This is no difference to some job advertisements that says, "Mandarin-speaking only". I'm sure it is a very subjective issue, but since we live in a racially-harmony community, why not just say, "WE PREFER CHINESE ONLY." Nothing wrong isn't it. Same goes to the other races, "WE PREFER MALAYS ONLY" - the advertiser can't say "MALAY-SPEAKING ONLY" coz the older generation of non-Malays all speaks fluent Malay.

Take note that this is not a racist post or to generate racial tension. I'm just pointing out that since the government and the mass media are all promoting racial-harmony, why trying to be discrete?? At least we know, where, who and how to approach such issues.

If the advertisement says, "MALE-WORKING ENVIRONMENT" - does it mean it's for Gays? I used to work where it says, "ALCOHOL-DRINKING ENVIRONMENT". But non beats "BACK-STABBING ENVIRONMENT"......... I hear it applies to many places......... "the quest for personal glory...".
