Sri Lanka gig confirmed!! Will play in the biggest club in Sri Lanka (2000pax), showcase, radio show, and DJ seminar/workshop. I'm not excited anymore...

Perth gig is confirmed, will play in a club in Fremantle for 2 days. 1st day - Funky House and Elecktro, 2nd day - Hip-Hop and Mash-ups.... Not excited anymore.....

Not hard-up for overseas gig anymore..... been there, done that. Getting irritated with 'jumping monkeys' trying too hard to be something... Dropping names doesn't prove anything, having cheapskates coming to your parties does not make a successful party...... Maybe some DJs need to respect other people's console, or other DJ's set, and not jump in and make a mess (MESS in a DJ console means - unable to pitch, unable to understand what is harmonic-mixing, unable to understand music structure, bars & phases.... that's why we have the DJ school). Talking about DJ schools/instructors....I wonder how does a cripple teach a limbless disable how to walk and run...... Over-enthusiastic, over-excited and over-rated jumping-beans can cause over-heated engines, who will over-react and create an over-the-top scene.

..... today I woke up to a beautiful weather.. it was cooling, slight drizzle, and with a distinctive ray of light..... but still feeling tired after a long day, yesterday. Thank you to Ben for coming down and share a bit of my 'joy' of music. Its been awhile, and the vinyls were dusty.... but I'm Lovin' It!!

Speaking of 'ray of light'..... got a pleasant call from Sri Lanka and Perth. Not gonna say much but 'everything' is on track. Hoping for the best.... like they say.... HOPE IS A GOOD THING.

Tmw this time, I'll be in Khao San with my Bangkok boys. Its a company retreat, but I'm sure there'll be more work than play. Not sure if I like the "FLOATING WATER RESTAURANT"..... but I'm looking forward to creating 'fire' on the FLOATING RESTAURANT..... heh!

Met a very old friend today..... in fact, it was an x-girlfriend from long long ago. I was very very happy for her that she's happily married, and blessed with a chubby baby boy.

What makes me very happy is that she was formerly a juvenile delinquent, drug addict, with lots of problems. When I was dating her, I took her away from her 'black influences' and started hangout with my boys, who were into music and some creative stuffs.... she didn't belief that she could turn back into someone better. it took sleepless nights and hours of pacifying. She eventually got out of the nightlife, and old friends and got a job in an office. That's where we broke off while she started to date her manager.....

6 years later, she's married, loving husband, have a kid, works for a major MNC, with a good position... I'm so happy for her...

morale of the story....... EVERYBODY HAS A CHANCE TO TURN THINGS AROUND, IF THEY BELIEVE IN THEMSELVES. Hope is a good thing... hope for something good, thats when something good will happen.

I'm glad I was a part of her 'turn-around'..... this is the third time such things happen to me (the other girl with same problem is now a Senior Officer with CID!!)......

During our weekly meetings, I sit in a chair next to the CEO.... apparently, legend says that the chair was cursed. Anybody sits in that chair will be out of the company sooner or later...... in fact, we have actually seen 2 key figures suffering from such beliefs.

As much as I'm not a superstitious person, I have been advised countless times to get an 'amulet' from a 'wise' person to ward off the curse. Most of the time, I'd just laugh it off.....

Unfortunately, it seems like there IS really a curse..... I'm feeling it right now. In fact, its getting so real that I'm quite bothered by it......

Today, 3 person came up to me and asked....."what the hell were you trying to do yesterday??!"
