For the past 2 weeks, I've been hearing people talk about the extended ERP hours along the CTE. Being a road-user and abuser.... I find it quite ridiculous also. However, I also found some people who welcome the extended hours. These people are the ones who are having extra-marital affairs.
Apparently, they use the ERP extended hours as a reason to come home late, while actually having an affair outside. And I'm not only talking about the men. It goes both ways.
Since the ERP on CTE is from 5.30pm-10.30pm..... more married couples are coming home late, with reasons of not wanting to pay for the charges which cost from 50 cents to $1.50. Apparently, they save money by not going thru the gantries and wait till its past 10.30pm. The truth is, they actually spending more money when they stay out late. Some spend their time with their 'affairs' in bar or pubs, some spent it in the 'transit' hotels.... whilst, the clever ones, stay in office and prefer doing everything in the office...... I mean everything. At the same time, when husbands come home late, working-wives can do the same, while housewives can extend the 'visiting-hours' till 10pm, instead of the normal 6pm.
By now, I'm sure that you've realised that the ERP system is causing lots of marital problems among couples, in the name of improving the economy. As what I've always said, "ONE MAN'S POISON, IS ANOTHER MAN'S ANTIDOTE..."
Nevertheless, either way.... there'll be some extra-marital affair somewhere, somehow......
With that in mind.... "seek path that lead to the light......"
